2003 BUDGET HEARING SCHEDULE

November 7, 2002

The Finance Committee of the Board of Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District has scheduled the meetings listed below for the purpose of conducting public hearings on the FY2003 Budget, including Corporate, Brookfield Zoo and Chicago Botanic Garden Program Budgets.

The schedule is as follows:

November 12, 2002, 6:30 p.m.
Sixth District Courthouse

Markham, Illinois

November 13, 2002, 6:30 p.m.
Fourth District Courthouse
1500 S. Maybrook Drive
Maywood, Illinois

November 14, 2002, 6:30 p.m.
Third District Courthouse
2121 Euclid Avenue
Rolling Meadows, Illinois

The public may testify at these meetings. Persons wishing to testify should give their name and the name of any organization they may represent to the Secretary of the Forest Preserve District, 69 West Washington, Room 2220, Cook County Administration Building, Chicago, Illinois, 60602 (312.603.0024). Each organization will be limited to one speaker, who will be allowed three minutes for their comments. Speakers are requested to submit 30 copies of any written statement to the Committee prior to speaking.

Copies of the budget are also available for public inspection, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the following locations:

The Office of the Secretary-Treasurer, 69 W. Washington, Room 2220, Chicago, Illinois;

Second District Circuit Courthouse, 5600 Old Orchard Road, Skokie, Illinois, Office of the County Clerk;

Third District Circuit Courthouse, 2121 Euclid Avenue, Rolling Meadows, Illinois, Office of the County Clerk;

Fourth District Circuit Courthouse, 1500 S. Maybrook Drive, Maywood, Illinois, Office of the County Clerk;

Fifth District Circuit Courthouse, 10220 S. 76th Street, Bridgeview, Illinois, Office of the County Clerk; and

Sixth District Circuit Courthouse, 16501 S. Kedzie Parkway, Markham, Illinois, Office of the County Clerk.
